BANGOR - As a community mourns the loss of one of their own, a memorial service has been organized to remember the life of a Husson University student who was tragically killed this past week.
Police say 21-year-old Brooke Locke was strangled to death by her boyfriend Zackery Mailloux.
Now, a Facebook page has been set up in her memory and a memorial service will be held at the Edward Little High School in Auburn, where Brooke graduated in 2010.
The service will be held Wednesday at 5 p.m. in front of the school's bell tower, all are welcome to attend.

Raised in Houston, Texas, Andrew graduated from Suffolk University located in Boston, Massachusetts where he majored in Communications. Before moving up to the Pine Tree State, Andrew was a student reporter for The Morning Show on New England Cable News (NECN).
When not in the newsroom, Andrew enjoys volunteering at the Bangor Humane Society. You can see him there at least once a week interacting with many of the dogs. He also enjoys cooking, reading, watching his favorite movies, and going to the gym.
